IVAA Mentorship Program - an
opportunity for aspiring VAs or VAs new to a niche to connect with
and learn from a seasoned VA who's been there.
IVAA VACs - Virtual Assistant
Connections are an excellent way to network with VAs and aspiring
VAs in your local area. They are open to all IVAA members, including
international members. These IVAA-sponsored events usually take
place over lunch or dinner and often result in valuable connections
that help VA's grow their businesses and our industry. VACs are
announced on the message boards, in the AACast, and at ivaa.org. If
you are interested in hosting a VAC in your area, please contact
vac@ivaa.org
Preferred Partners Program (PPP) -
The recently launched Preferred Partners Program offers active
members an exclusive list of qualified vendors who provide discounts
on their products or services. From computer help to software
discounts, check out the PPP in the members-only section of the
website today! Members can become Preferred Partners too - see the
application at ivaa.org.
Expert of the Month series (EOM)
- EOMs are monthly informational sessions held in the IVAA chat
rooms. Experts in fields ranging from pricing and marketing to
subcontracting and Real Estate Support provide direction and answer
questions. These valuable sessions are not to be missed. Check out
the website for more details!
Featured/Spotlight VA - All
members in the IVAA have the opportunity to have their business
featured on the website and in our e-newsletter, The IVAACast.
Free Website Hosting - All
members are eligible for a free website hosting account using your
business domain name.
IVAACast - IVAA's monthly
newsletter helps you grow and maintain your business while keeping
you up-to-date on the latest in the VA industry.
Summit - Our yearly Summit
provides a place to get to know and network with other IVAA members
face to face, and provides professional speakers and break-out
sessions on topics of interest to seasoned and newer VAs.
Summit Scholarships - As part of
the organization's way to thank their volunteers, a scholarship
program has been set up which allows volunteers the opportunity to
registration and expenses ($500 stipend) for our yearly Summit. For

IVAANet and Message Forums -
Keep in touch with fellow IVAA members, ask questions and discuss
the latest information and technologies available to VAs today.
RFP (Request For Proposal) System
- Bid on projects that have been submitted to our RFP system by
clients who are already looking for a VA.
Directory Listing - Display your
listing in our member's directory where potential clients and fellow
VAs can locate you by name, state, or multiple search criteria.
Certifications - Show your
professionalism and set yourself apart by obtaining your CVA
(Certified Virtual Assistant), EthicsCheck, and CRESS (Certified
Real Estate Support Specialist) designations. CVA available to
members only!
IVAA Chat Rooms - Used for Board
meetings, committee meetings, and EOM's, the IVAA Chat Rooms are
also available to members who may want to have a discussion with
other members.
In the works
The Member Benefits Department is hard at work to bring
even more value to your IVAA membership. Member Benefits coming to
you soon included:
- VA Library - a list of books and reference
manuals available to purchase through the IVAA website.
- Contracts/Forms Library - Look for the
current contracts and forms library to be expanded and
better organized in the coming months.
- Mastermind / Peer Discussion groups - A
chance for seasoned VAs and those with a particular niche to
get together in the chat room.
